Israel is a country smaller than New Jersey. In a short few hours Wednesday almost 500 rockets were fired at civilians. These rockets target women, children, schools, old aged homes, hospitals. Arabs, Druze, Christians, tourists and Israelis.

Between sirens people continue their work and school day. People live, work, study and volunteer under stress. Israelis are incredibly resilient. Living in Israel is an exercise in resilience, dealing with life’s challenges and somehow coming out on top.
Our brave soldiers are the true heroes who put their lives on the line to protect our freedom and democracy. We pray for their safety and well-being.
