Today is my birthday. I am a little freaked out by my new age. A few gray hairs! Milestones not yet achieved! I feel so young, yet my kids look at me like I am so old!
Some takeaways from my 5 decades/ 17150 days on this planet:
I am so grateful for my husband and anchor, who has my back, gets me, and is my partner in my life adventures.
Family matters. I cherish every opportunity to spend time together.
I truly relate to Thomas Jefferson when he says: “I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it."
I always say I will sleep in my grave… life is too short to dream it away.
I appreciate the opportunity to see the world - 89 countries and counting. Each travel adventure broadens my perception of the world, reframes my perspective on it, and opens my mind further.
We only live once; make each day count.
I firmly believe that a life filled with giving is the best way to receive more than I already have.
Living fully means taking life's challenges in stride while never forgetting to count my blessings.
The best motivator is getting out of bed each day knowing I can impact the world in my own way!
My life philosophy, summed in 3 words, is encompassed in the title of my book: Chutzpah, Wisdom, and Wine.
