Cocktails To Add Some Spice To Your Dinner Party

Updated: Mar 17, 2021

I would like to know from all of you, when you host a party do you like to have premade cocktails available? Or do you prefer to have different ingredients out so that guests can create their own masterpieces? I would like to put it out to MetroImma: to create or to wait?

I’m still undecided over there. I enjoy preparing for a party but I do know that there are occasions when I can run out of time in the preparation stage and all of a sudden everyone has arrived and I’m still in the kitchen! But I think that cocktails are the most fun to make and always a great way to start an evening if they are already prepared and waiting to be drunk.

So here are two recipes for delicious cocktails that are sure to break the ice in even the chilliest situations!

Heering Royale

1 part Cherry Heering Liqueur

5 parts Champagne

Pour Cherry Heering Liqueur into a Champagne glass, top with champagne and garnish with a cherry.

Cherry Heering Sparkling Punch

1 part Cherry Heering Liqueur

4 parts sparkling wine

1 party cherry or grape juice for a fruitier or less alcoholic alternative.

Stir in all parts and decorate with sliced fruit and large ice cubes (looks even better if your ice cubes are shaped as fruit)

If you want to see some more delicious drinks that you can create with Heering Liqueur, check out their website http://www.heering.com/drinks/our-favourite-drinks/. It’s always great to have an arsenal of recipes all using a product that you already know you like.

This is perfect if you’re planning to throw a big bash for New Years, which, now that I think about it, is coming up very soon! I better go start planning; if you have any ideas for great New Years parties please post them below!
